History: Economic Council Helping Others Inc., dba ECHO Inc. was established in 1967 as a 501-©-(3) non-profit. Over the years, ECHO has provided millions of pounds of food, offered a variety of emergency assistance programs, and affordable childcare to San Juan County residents. ECHO Inc. is one of five Community Action Agencies (CAA) in New Mexico. Community Action Agencies provide access, opportunities, and resources to children, families, and communities in crisis while ultimately achieving long-term economic self-sufficiency.
